Pattern Practice: 叫, 姓 and 什么

Three patterns
Remember the rule: 叫 and 姓 are verbs, so neither takes 是. 叫 needs the full name, 姓 only the surname, and a question puts 什么 in the slot the answer fills.
我叫 + full name. 我姓 + surname. 你叫什么名字？ to ask.
Some common surnames: 李 (Lǐ), 王 (Wáng), 张 (Zhāng), 刘 (Liú), 陈 (Chén).
我叫刘云。
Wǒ jiào Liú Yún. -- My name is Liu Yun.
我姓张。
Wǒ xìng Zhāng. -- My surname is Zhang.
